'Missamma' is the title of an upcoming movie produced by Hari Inidi and Ramya Kommalapati on Sri Venkateswara Sai Creations. Directed by newcomers Abhiraj Rupala and Satish VM, its launch event today was graced by Telangana Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav, who said that the movie has got a nice concept. "I hope 'Missamma' becomes a box office hit," the Minister added.
The Minister also added that his friend Hari has worked really hard by working on some big movies.
The old 'Missamma' has been regarded as a classic. The latest film merely borrows the title and its subject is entirely new. It has got elements of science and history, the makers said. Speaking on the occasion, the director said that 'Missamma' will be both for the mass and class audience.
Actress Shobitha Rana said, "I am very happy to be a part of this project. My character in the movie is crucial." 'Bigg Boss' Lahari said, "I am very happy to be doing this film." Actor Arjun Krishna added, "I hope I will be getting busy as a male lead after this movie."
The film has the story by VM Satish, while the dialogues are by Hanu Ravuri (he is also the screenplay writer). David Margel is its cinematographer. Art Direction is by SV Murali.
