Anushka Shetty's 'Nishabdham' will start streaming on Amazon Prime from October 2. Ahead of its release, director Hemant Madhukar has shared some interesting bits of information about the making of the mystery thriller.
The entire shoot of the movie was completed in 56 days flat. Shot in the backdrop of Seattle, US, in real locations, the film was shot without any sets being created. Talking about the experience, the director says, "Even some of the cops shown in the film are real professionals. We shot the film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil."
Giving a taste of the premise, the director added, "The film is the story of Sakshi, a talented artist who is deaf and mute. She gets entangled in a criminal investigation when she unexpectedly witnesses a tragic incident that occurs in a villa with a reputation for being haunted. A team of police detectives determined to get to the bottom of the case and the list of suspects ranging from a ghost to a missing young girl."
The film also features R Madhavan, Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Srinivas Avasarala in pivotal roles.
