The teaser launch event of Ravi Chavali’s directorial ‘Super Sketch’ was held on Friday i.e. on April 6 in Hyderabad. Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav graced the event as chief guest and launched the teaser. Wishing all the best to the team, Talasani Srinivas Yadav said, “Young and talented Telugu artists have made an experimental film ‘Super Sketch’ in association with foreign artists. I wish the film will become big success. I am very happy that my close friend ‘Super Sketch’ has played hero in the film. Telangana government will always be in forefront to encourage small budget films and good concept films.”
Ravi Chavali, who earned fame with ‘Samanyudu’ and ‘Srimannarayana’, is directing the film. Balaram Makkala is producing the film under Sri Sukra Creations in association with You and I Friends Film Academy with Eros Cinemas as presenter. Narsing, Indra, Sameer Datta, Karthik, Chakri Maganti, Anika, Subhangi, Sophia, Garitone Tony, Bangarraju and Baba are playing major roles. It’s a thriller set in the backdrop of murder mystery.
On this occasion, Narsing said, “All artists and technicians who worked for ‘Super Sketch’ are from Telangana. Films like ‘Fidaa’ which set in the backdrop of Telangana have become big success of late. Each and every frame of ‘Super Sketch’ is set in Telangana backdrop. Along with Telangana artists, Sophia from California and Garitone Tony from England have played key roles in the film. I played police officer. Dialogues will be terrific in the film.”
Briefing about the film’s details, director Ravi Chavali said, “The film ‘Super Sketch’ is a thriller like ‘Drushyam’. It has such a gripping story that has the prowess to be remade in other languages. Entire shooting part has been completed. We are planning to release the film in May.”
