Raghavendra Mahatyam - Press Meet

Tara Arts banner ‘Raghavendra Mahatyam’ is being directed by Krishna Chandra with Ravindra Gopal as its producer. Ravindra Gopal is also playing the title role and senior actor Balayya and Aswini will be seen in other important roles. A press meet was held at Hyderabad to brief the film’s details where director Krishna Chandra, Ravindra Gopal, and Balayya participated.

Director Krishna Chandra said, “I prepared this script after doing complete homework on Raghavendra Swamy for 2 years. The film’s output is neat and very good without any vulgar scenes. I hope the Telugu audience will watch and appreciate this film.”

Balayya said, “I played the role of Sudeendra Teerthulu means Raghavendra Swamyji’s guru. We are going to showcase Raghavendra Swamy’s life history from Madwacharya Aasramam’. Surya Prakash penned the story wonderfully. This film is a good attempt exactly at the time the devotional films are vanishing. I wish the audience will like this film.”

Ravindra Gopal said, “I played two good roles in the past. Raghavendra Mahatyam was done by Rajnikanth in Tamil and Rajkumar in Kannada. I’m very happy to get the opportunity in Telugu. People in Karnataka worship Raghavendra Swamy a lot. Our aim is to make the Telugu people aware of his prominence and showcase his life history right from his childhood. I’m playing the title role. We completed the shooting today. We are making this small budget film with a great artist like Balayya garu. I wish the audience will appreciate our efforts.”
