Prema Kavali PM
Sai Kumar’s son Aadi’s debut film ‘Prema Kavali’ was recently released in theaters. RR Movie Makers is presenting this movie while K Atchi Reddy produced it under Macs India Pvt Ltd. K Vijay Bhaskar is the director. Now the news is that the English song in youtube was launched at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad today. This programme was attended by Aadi, Sai Kumar, Atchi Reddy, Vijay Bhaskar, BA Raju, Anoop Rubens, SV Krishna Reddy, Jonny, Gautham Raju, etc. The Telugu song ‘Manasantha Mukkalu Chese…’ was translated in English as ‘Oh Baby, why did you have to go away from me so far away? You broke my heart into million pieces’. This song was released in the youtube by SV Krishna Reddy.
Later addressing the media Sai Kumar said, “Love and music are the two universal factors. The movie ‘Prema Kavali’ is attracting the youth the most. Hence in order to make this movie more popular, we have translated one of the songs in English and displayed it in the youtube so that it will get the international recognition. This is the first time one such attempt has been made in Telugu film industry. This song was translated by lyricist Steve and was sung by Clinton.”
SV Krishna Reddy said, “On this occasion I offer my best wishes to hero Aadi and his team members. RR Movie Makers has made this film so popular through its publicity. So I hope this movie will become a grand success. I appreciate Anoop Rubens for his efforts to compose this English song with the support of World’s best singer and best lyricist. I’m sure Venkat would give many more surprises through his banner in the near future.”
Anoop Rubens while speaking, “We normally translate the English songs in Telugu language. But this is the first time a Telugu song has been translated in English. This idea belongs to Venkat garu. I’m sure that this song would reach the audience at greater level.”
Aadi said, “All songs are getting very good response and for the first time a Telugu song was translated into English. I’m confident that this experiment would become a grand success.”
Director Vijay Bhaskar said, “While the Telugu version gives a feel of pain, the English version has so much depth in it. Everyone are opining that this movie is a youthful love story but it is actually a truthful love story.”
Producer K Atchi Reddy said, “This movie collected Rs 2 crores share in the 1st week after its release. The fans of all heroes have received the film very well. I thank the audience for encouraging such good films. This new experiment of translating a Telugu song into English is to make it popular at international level. The idea belongs to Venkat garu and Anoop had put in great efforts to compose this feel good song which has more depth in English than in Telugu.”
