In a recent public meeting in Srikakulam, Pawan Kalyan urged Ram Charan to adopt a cyclone Titli-affected village in Srikakulam and help the people to get back to normalcy soon. Mega power star Ram Charan has accepted his uncle Pawan Kalyan's suggestion and decided to adopt one of Titli cyclone ravaged villages in Srikakulam district. Confirming the news, Ram Charan released a statement to the media.
The statement reads, "During his tour of the cyclone hit regions of Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram, Kalyan Babai suggested that I adopt one of the affected villages. I'm glad that Babai came up with this idea and it makes me extremely happy and privileged that I'm in a position to contribute and make a difference. I've decided to implement Babai's suggestion and have already discussed it with my team to initiate the process. My team would identify the areas which would benefit with my contribution and I shall make an announcement regarding the same very soon."
Many other celebrities have also been instrumental in coordinating disaster relief work and are reaching out to people in affected areas.
